Popup displayed as transparent, not matching settings

Good morning everyone,
I have created a popup for my blog mundgefuehl.com to promote one of my books. In the settings I have formatted all backgrounds as white (with 100% coverage), but the popup is shown fully transparent when activated.

What can be the root cause? Is there any trick how I could solve this?

Many thanks for your support
Betty

Hi Betty,

Styling issues are often caused by cached styles getting used instead of updated ones.

We noticed you currently have WP Rocket installed.

We tried bypassing it, and your popup style worked for us.

Here's our test on Firefox: https://share.zight.com/GGuwQ1jw

Could you clear your cache and then exclude the following files from getting optimized?

Javascript:/wp-content/uploads/pum/pum-site-scripts.js
CSS: /wp-content/uploads/pum/pum-site-style.css

Go to WP Rocket Settings > File Optimization to find where you can add the above files to be excluded.

Let us know how it goes. 🙏

Hi Kim,
many thanks for your response!
You are a genius - now it works. I managed to exclude the files via the WP rocket settings.

Wishing you a joyful festive season
Betty
