The Popup Close shortcode provides visitors with an alternative to a popup ‘Close’ button. The shortcode is designed to simplify the creation of a new close button. It cannot be used to redirect visitors to a remote URL via a link (either an internal or external URL to the site domain name).

Example Use of the Popup Close Shortcode #
Copy the following shortcode example (below the comments <!– –>) and add it to the ‘Text’ tab of the Popup Editor. The content should be wrapped by the shortcode’s opening and closing brackets ( for example, ).

‘classes’ | optional | Additional CSS class attributes to add to the HTML element. Useful for targeting the style of the shortcode content. Set styles on the added class(es) from within your site’s theme. |
